These adorable Santa wafer cookies are perfect for the holidays. They’re great for holiday parties, Christmas treats, and homemade gifts.

Vanilla wafers are dipped in white candy melts to create the base. Red sugar crystals and a mini marshmallow are used to create the hat. The eyes and nose are made with mini chocolate chips and M&Ms.

How to Make These Adorable Wafter Santas

Cute Santa Wafer Cookies

This recipe for Santa wafer cookies makes 24 so you can make them for holiday parties when you want to bring a cute Christmas sweet treat.

Ingredients:

  • 24 wafer cookies (you can use vanilla wafers, chocolate, or any flavor)
  • 12 ounces of white candy melts
  • 1 container of red sugar crystals
  • 24 mini marshmallows
  • 48 mini chocolate chips
  • 24 red M&Ms

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, melt the white chocolate candy melts according to the package instructions.
  2. Dip each wafer cookie in the melted candy until it’s fully coated. We used a fork to remove the cookie from the melted candy. We then lightly tapped the fork on the edge of the bowl so that it knocked off the excess chocolate.
  3. Place the white chocolate-covered cookie on a piece of parchment paper and immediately decorate the top half of the cookie with the red sugar crystals. Don’t wait until it dries because then the sugar crystals won’t stick!
  4. Next, place one mini marshmallow at the top of the cookie.
  5. Add two mini chocolate chips for Santa’s eyes and one red M&M for Santa’s nose.
  6. Allow the chocolate to cool and harden for at least 30 minutes before serving.
