Easy Frito Chili Pie

This easy Frito Chili Pie with cheese comes together in just 25 minutes for a filling and delicious fall or winter comfort meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef chuck
  • 1 yellow onion; diced
  • 1 tbsp garlic
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 c beef broth
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp  black pepper
  • 15 oz can of tomato sauce
  • 1 bag Frito’s Original Chips
  • 4 c shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, add ground beef, garlic, and onion. Bring to medium heat and cook until ground beef is browned.
  • Add in the cumin, cayenne pepper, chili powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
  • Add in tomato sauce and beef broth. Stir well and simmer on low for 10 minutes.
  • Top Frito’s with cheese and then the chili. 

Notes

Walking Chili Tacos

You can easily make these chili-style walking tacos. Instead of layering the Fritos and other ingredients into a dish, simply put them in individual Frito Chili chip bags.
Open the mini Fritos bags, pour in a couple of spoonfuls of the meat mixture, sprinkle with some cheese, and add any other toppings you’d like.
